The National Skilled Trades Network (NSTN) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2002 by a group of small business owners in the skilled trades industry.

With the vision of the founders to address the lack of youth and young adults entering the lucrative construction skilled trades industry. After much time and research NSTN decided to develop an accredited construction trades training program with national industry credentials.

After a time consuming and exhaustive search of credentialed training programs. NSTN decided in 2017 to become a National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Accredited Training Sponsor (ATS), so that the youth and young adults in underserved communities could acquire the education needed to become credentialed construction trades workers. That would allow them to become employable in the lucrative construction industry.
